This quilt was begun in Wanda Cracknell’s “Spectacular Scraps” course in May of 2001. I see this piece as my turning point, from traditional to non-traditional work. I designed the quilt top using a four-patch of double triangles and two colour families, changing some of the values and adding small gems of other hues enhanced the design.

Techniques: Machine pieced, machine quilted
Materials: Cotton fabrics, cotton and rayon threads
